Having finished reading the Seductive Art article in the latest Digital Photography magazine, I had to peruse your website for more! Your images are flawless, the lighting, expression and composition is precise. I definately agree photography is something you are born with. I have studied and been a professional photographer for 5 years so am constantly looking at new images from overseas etc for inspiration unyet no ones work compares to yours. I recently brought the FIB magazine on Masters of Photography, unyet each image has some small flaw. I want to thank you for the unbelievable quality of your art.
Everything exceeded our expectations. Everyone who has seen the work
has been amazed. I think you will end up with clients from Arizona as
several friends have expressed interest in traveling to Sydney to work
with you. Stella & I have 2 homes and we may be purchasing
a couple of additional large and/or medium reprints to display.
We will order these from you once we get it sorted out.

I know that photographic art is the property of the artist. Stella & I
totally respect that and will have you make any of the additional large
copies we want. My mom has asked for a 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" for the
shelf where she keeps family pictures, my sister has also made the same
request. I would like wallet print of one of the pictures. When I
asked about this, you told me to take photographs of the art and handle
it myself. I do not want to do anything wrong and need your permission
to do this. So, please let me know if this is acceptable.

On another note, we know several people in Arizona who would like to
work with you. Have you ever considered traveling to the US to do photo
shoots. I have a good relationship with a studit / gallery in Flagstaff
that has a perfect setup and I think they would be glad to host. Stella
& I could easily refer 2-4 (or more) clients. We could have some of our
art set up to display at the studio. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Dear Avi,

We would just like to thank you for our experience on sunday morning. We were a little (a lot) apprehensive before we came but you and Caroline reduced those concerns.
You approach and care, particularly of my aging knees, made the whole experience a pleasure. We did not feel at all embarrassed or self conscious and thought the whole experience was a one of the highlights of relationship. You photography fulfilled our desire of the images giving the feeling of us merging or melting together and the lone image of Leila is sensational. We cannot wait to see the final images and I suggested to Leila that there were another image we could think about , I think no 71,( when do you delete them?), but I was told to limit my enthusiasm. I also like my framing of Leila in our purchased image, so personal training works as Leila has tender muscles today and I don't.

Hi Avi,

I’m an aspiring photographer in the early stages of my career and the late stages of my life.
In my search for inspiration I search out other photographers and look at what they do. Occasionally I am impressed by their skills and creativity. In a fleeting moment I am inspired by what I see. I walked into your studio last week and was inspired. Thank you for that.
Don’t get me wrong; I don’t want to take photographs like yours. My interests are in other areas. But what I see in your images is a combination of technique, skill, creativity, design and presentation that inspires me to work harder at photographing the way I want to. I am at the beginning of my very late career. Before it’s too late I would like to have the opportunity to share my world with others as you do. Photography is such an accessible medium. Good photography requires hard work and a lot of knowledge and skill. Exceptional photographs such as yours requires the photographer to give a bit of himself to every image; they ‘bleed’ just a little for their craft.
I am yet to learn how to do that. Thank you for helping me find the way.

Avi and team:

I'm now back in the states (in the -5 weather) from my Australian holiday, and Kurt and I have been fondly recapping our various adventures, with the day at your studio being a huge highlight! We wanted to again thank you for such an all around wonderful experience. Unwittingly, little comments both of you made at times through the session affirmed us in this relatively new relationship of ours. The afternoon in the studio is just one more of those little fibers that are weaving together, forming the foundation of our life together. Exciting and reassuring for us! Thank you for that!

Another topic we struck upon was trying to find that 'other pose' we were trying to explain to you, and tonight managed to run back across it. We have NO regrets about not being able to remember exactly how that one fit together, as we are truly in awe of the shots we ended up selecting.

We've also realized that our plans have Kurt coming to the states maybe sooner than we thought, so if we could change the shipping destination for the prints, that would be great!

Again, many thanks for a spectacular experience! We can't wait to see the final art!

I arrived safe in Germany, Berlin. Just to let you know: I´m sitting in
front of my pictures and I love them... How can somebody be as beautiful as
me??? lol... Everybody said that beautiful is actually an understatement for
these photographies, they are amazing, I look amazing... So apparently we
three did a great job, espacially you Avi! So thanks again, for
everything... for giving me such a great time, such a great body feeling,
confident feeling, such a great memory and special souvenir of the best time
in my life... a time which was just about me. I miss that.

A few years ago, my wife and I were on a trip to Australia and as we wander around The Rocks we discovered your store front. After listening to the sales person describe your services, we were intrigued but decided to pass. We have regretted that decision since. Unfortunately we live in the United States and are not likely to make it back to Australia anytime soon. I have searched a few times for similar services in the States but can not find anything with your unique blend of options.

There seem to be several agencies that provide boudoir photography for women but not for couples. I don't believe I have found any that offer the photoshop touch-ups your studio provided.

The reason I am writing is to inquire if you are familiar with any studios that provide similar services in the States? As much as we would like to fly back to Australia to have your studio do the work, that probably isn't going to happen.

My journey with Avi started when I required an updated portfolio, I made a
vow to myself that only the best would do and the photographer had to have
the eye of an artist first and foremost; what drew me to Avi was the fact
that when looking at his work, I felt I was peering into a world of beauty
that is hidden behind the lens of his camera, his work was unlike anything
I'd seen from any other professional or talented amateur.

And that's the gift Avi is blessed with, and its a gift I was lucky enough
to have shared with me: his amazing ability to see the potential of his
subjects and through flawless technique and direction to capture that with
the snap of his camera and immortalize them in art. Its one thing to create
art with the stroke of a brush or to craft it by hand, but when Avi takes a
subject, me in this case and transforms them into a litteral example of
"Life imitating art", it will take your breath away.

Everyone at Celebrity Vogue have displayed a level of professionalism,
honesty and humanity that is very hard to come by and it comes from the
respect that everyone holds in Avi, he is someone whose work is left to
speak for itself, and that's why Avi and everyone at Celebrity Vogue are

The only upsetting experience I had throughout this journey was having to
choose which shots I'd give priority to; Avi's work is so incredible that

You are absolutely wonderful!!!!! I took the images to be framed today (actually about 2 hours after they arrived because I was soooo excited), they are even more gorgeous matched with a frame and matte!! When I saw how the finished product was going to look I was thrilled. The ladies at the store where I was having them framed were in awe! They wanted to know where did I get them, I told them they would need to travel to Australia for this kind of perfection. They knew they didn't come from anywhere around here. You are truly a master. They were well worth every penny. I was trying to remember how you had the gallery picture in your studio framed because it was beautiful. I wanted something similar to it. I will let you know when the box arrives, I can't wait to see them too. . I am thrilled with everything!

Dear Avi

I just had to write to tell everyone the story of our visit to your studio.

My new husband and I were honeymooning in Sydney, just strolling around the shops when we passed your 'Seductive Art' Gallery. 'Seductive', I had to see that.

On discovering that we could pose for seductive nude photos together, I was intrigued. "What an adventurous and daring activity for a honeymoon". We would have some very original art to keep and a great conversation piece. After speaking with one of your staff, I decided this was definitely a great idea.

After some (a lot) of convincing, my conservative new husband and I arrived at the studio the next day, got dolled up in the true theatre fashion (well done Michelle!) and posed. After a lot of stretching and "arching my back", we finished up and got dressed. Then I thought, "My goodness, what was I thinking, I'm no model, this is going to be so scary." I sat down with my ankles tightly together and hands wringing in my lap waiting for Avi to show us the unretouched photos he had just taken.

Well ... I was gobsmacked. I sat with my mouth gaping, unable to say anything. My new hubby couldn't stop "ooohhh" and "aaahhh"ing at the pictures on the computer screen. Avi's use of light, poses and camera angles was unbelievable. I was so impressed, I was wondering how much wall space we had spare at home.

Our friends were not told exactly what we had purchased. Rather, we had them arrive and framed before we let them know about our nude endeavours. They think we are naughty and over the top (in a nice way). Most laughed and made jokes, others turned away. All agreed though, that from an artistic viewpoint (and not the fact that these were their naked friends), they were lovely black and white pictures. Most importantly, we love them (thanks photo editors! Parichan and Toy) and my courageous hubby was even more excited about their arrival than I was.

Avi, what a fantastic job you have done. It was a pleasure to meet you and do business with you. You have my vote and I may not be an art critic, but I believe it takes an awful lot to impress me.

You deserve to go a long way in your career.

The photo shoot was so enjoyable, no need to be nervous at all, it was really comfortable and very fun =) The photographs turned out amazing and as you know i ended up going for the larger print after all. Everyone loves the photographs, Michelle did a great job with the hair and make up and Avi you are a very talented photographer!

We found out we are pregnant so it has been a busy time and we are very exited.

Hi,

We purchased the beautiful "Smiling Buddha" from your Gallery at The Rocks back in March. Thought I would send you a photo of it hanging on our dining room wall - looks fantastic!!!!! Unfortunately my camera doesn't do it justice and the apartment gets a lot of sunlight which reflects in the shot. I ended up going for a black frame as the choice of dark brown wooden frames was very limited - they followed all the other suggestions you had outlined. Thanks for the Gift Certificate photo shoot - good excuse to visit Sydney again on our next visit to OZ and I have wanted a photo of us both for some time now.

Many thanks for the beautiful photos you did of Janelle. I picked them up on Monday.
When I came to collect them I had a friend and her Son with me, he actually does the
make up for the Rocky Horror Show. They were both very impressed with your Studio
and your work and really loved my photos, which are now in being framed. He
commented on what a fantastic job Michelle had done with the make up, naturally

You took my glamour photos in 2001 when I walked into your studio on a whim while visiting Sydney. I had 4 hours to kill and it was the best four hours in transit. I’ve been traveling around and now live in the USA, in particular, Las Vegas. All these years I’ve had most of my belongings stored in Australia. I recently had to pack up my belongings for another move and found my CD of the glamour shots you took of me. Everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve looked to see if there was anyone else who does glamour shots the way you do but have not found anyone like you. You’ve taken glamour shots beyond the norm and made it possible for

Hello Avi and Michelle,
 
Just a Note to thank you both and your Team for making our visit to your
most beautiful studio one to remember and very pleasant.
 
As you know we have been clients in the past and once again even though
I haven't picked up my photos as yet I know they are outstanding. We are
more than pleased, you all did a wonderful job, just so professional. I will be
returning from Queensland on the weekend of the 18th of May, so I am hoping
that the photos will be ready by then. I can arrange the final payment before
that day if necessary. It would just save me driving back up from the South Coast
again. We arrived home at almost 9.30 pm after our visit with you on Wednesday,
even though it was a long day for us, it was worth every moment. As promised
I have sent you some photos of where in our home my large photo you took of
Lauren is. When I receive Janelle's things will turn around and I will move the
others that now hang in the hall out on a big wall together as they don't get seen
too much in the hall, they will stand out fabulously.

Hi Avi and Michele,

Firstly, thank you for assisting to have my photos picked up. They arrived in perfect condition.

I am very happy with them and once I pay this lot off, am thinking about coming in to have some more done.

In the meantime, I gave the voucher you sent to me to a friend. Her boyfriend is training for a body building competition so they will book shortly and attend together.

Anyway, thank you thank you for bringing out the best in me. Whilst I had no time to prepare and would like to make some changes next time, they were so good even my own mother didn't recognise me.

Hi Avi,

I just wanted to let you know, that my boyfriend was stunned about the photos. It was a great moment, when he unpacked them. He would have never thought of a present like that. He is so proud that this lady on these beautiful pictures is his girlfriend ;-), that he put the two bigger pictures in our living room, the big one even on the most centre wall of the room. So now, sometimes, we have to put a big bunch of flowers in front or put some clothing over it, depending on who is visiting us ;-). I love them too! They are really great!!! Graet work! Please say also „Thank you“ to Jackie for me. She`s done a great job too. The timing of the delivery was not too bad after all, as the present turned from a Christmas present into an engagement present ;-).

My boyfriend also wants to have a look at the photos of our session from November to have a look, if he wants more photos from that, I hope this is possible. So thank you for the great work and I hope we will meet again this year.

Hi Avi. Thanks for the photos, the challenge of doing a portrait of
another photographer it is a task i would like, as we had never met before
makes it harder , the two reasons i chose your studio is A- i liked the shots
you do and B. ETHICS, There are many studios who claim to be portrait
studios all they are after is peoples money this is their number one goal,
before people know IT they have spent a fortune on prints talked into it by
sales people, they do damage to our image as ethical pros ,my saying is
honest work practice at all times keeps your clients coming back, yours must
as I know your ethics are number one we must catch up for a coffee soon and

Hello Avi,

Just wanted to say thank you to you and Jessie for a great experience. I felt oddly empowered when I left you studio.

My only wish is that we had more time- in retrospect I would have liked to try some additional poses and experiment with different hair/ makeup. Maybe we'll be back one day and can do it again when we're not rushing off to catch a plane.

For example< I am not it is required to "straighten" the bone of my spine in the big picture I wanted, just a thought. Wish I would live a little closer, so we could do that more often... cause I need pictures more and more.

What I was wondering. We already talked about using the pictures for my home page maybe.

Hello Avi!

Not sure how you are on the memory side of things, but I am guessing you're quite good and will remember the backpacker who posed on the chair back in February. I haven't had a chance to look at the print and it is carefully store away at my house in Canberra unopened, so thanks for organizing that. I have been having the most amazing time; I can't describe all the people that I have met and the positive influences they have had on me. This is a beautiful country and I am so glade to be exploring it. I have been all through NSW, VIC, SA and now I've just arrived to Alice Springs.
I've had a blast, but I'm going to have to get a job here, as a very good and very persuasive photographer in Sydney convinced me to spend a third of my travelling money before I even started! You cheeky bugger!:)
I remember that you had an exhibition in April, so I hope all your beautiful work was well received by the best of luck if it is still running.
Do let me know if you ended up displaying the photo I was in, it would be cool to know that my photo was displayed somewhere.

I've still remembered the advice you gave me months ago and haven't looked back. Hope you are enjoying a great season there in Sydney.

Yesterday I was so excited, the pictures have finally arrived and I felt like a child, opening an Xmas present. It was more than a present. They really are good, especially the big ones. Yo u did a fantastic job. Thanks so much. Now I have to get the perfect frame order to hang them up decently.
What is the name of the framing, the way you did it in the window.
For the big one, I don't a frame, because the quality is excellent, I prefer let it be glued on a surface. And then there must be a spot there for all of them...

Actually where I have left them to be framed the man there who is a photographer himself said he has never seen anything as good as them if they are digital!!!!

Dear Avi & Team,

We received the photos already weeks (or is it even months?) ago and are very happy with the results- just as you said we would be!
Next time we're in Sydney, we would like to have colour photos taken and I (that's me Blista) would also like the art kind of photos.
Like the one with the girl like a mermaid in a glass, and the one of that lady without arms.

We're sorry for this late reply but things have been hectic here! Even since we got home from our vacation in beautiful Sydney, we've been in busy mode all the time. We are moving to another province, which takes some effort to arrange it all in a proper way.
Moving to another province isn't really big for Australian standards- the distance is Sydney to Gosford.

But the Dutch standards it's as if we're moving to another country, besides that, Fred had the opportunity to become a Logistic Manager and of coarse he accepted the job.
The downside is that we both lack time to do fun-stuff beside work. We haven't been really social for a few months now but I suppose that will all be different as soon as the move to Rijswijk is done.

We hope you are all doing great and that business is booming (is that the right expression?). If you get Dutch people for a session, they might be acquainted to us.. We told all our family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues about the studio and showed them the most beautiful photos.

Some people were flapper gasped, enthusiastic, and curious about the artist.. But guess what? Not all of them were excited about the photos. Can you even imagine that? We sure can't and so we decided that they were jealous and express that in giving nasty comments. We got some really degrading comments of people whom we didn't expect such a reaction. That was very unfortunate- especially since the worst comment came from a relative of Fred. So I totally had it with her and didn't even contact her after that day (December 7). In some sort of way the photos created a gap between her and me.

Nevertheless, I don't regret the session and nor those Fred. We're happy we made the booking back then, on the 18th of October. I'm wearing that bight orange bag on regular basis (good size to take with me wherever I go) but I was just thinking that maybe you can print the location of the bag too ( it doesn't mention where the studio is located).

Hi Avi,

I just thought I would write and let you know that I received my photos just before Christmas and they look great! They survived the journey to Canada perfectly intact (although the packages was mangled - so Kudos to whoever those your packaging!)

The lighting looks great and the sharpness of the black and white prints are impressive.

I will let you know if I need any more copies and when I am going back to Sydney again.

Hi Avi,

I just got the packages today and opened up the 8x12 package, I want to let Roy open the big ones!

They look great even better than I remember! Roy is taking them into work tomorrow to show a couple of ladies your work that has been interested in flying to Sydney to work with you! : -P

I was wondering if the 8x12 copies of the 2 images we ordered in the large size would be coming separately as I did not see them included in the 8x12 package?

Hi Avi,

Just a quick one to say how anxious we are to receive our photos especially after getting the lovely surprise video!
What a great touch to your campaign. It brought tears to my eyes and now going back through the day it makes me wish an entire video of the shoot could also be purchased with the photographs. Maybe this is something you may want to offer to clients- especially those who are coming back again and again.

If I compare the pictures on the CD with those on the paper, I must say that there is a really huge difference. The result is totally sophisticate no doubt; its first-class quality!
